Winter at BHOC

The Outdoor Center is open for skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking.

In a purposeful departure from the busy, manicured trails that have become the norm, the Outdoor Center offers the serenity of quiet, ungroomed, and authentic backcountry adventures, followed by the coziness of home with our hot soup and cookies waiting for you upon your return!

Registration is required for each winter visit if you are parking a vehicle in our parking lot from 9-5. If you anticipate being out after 5 pm and are prepared (food, headlamp, warm clothes), please indicate when signing in so we don’t come looking for you. We check the parking area at the end of each day to be sure all have returned from their adventure safely! Please let us know if you will be parking overnight.

If you are snowshoeing, please stay to the side of the ski tracks.

Skiers moving downhill have the right of way.

Dogs in your full control or on a leash are allowed on our trails. Please pick up after your pet.

Be kind and have fun!
